Welcome to the Sequoyah MS  Connections  Music Lab!

Sequoyah MS students who are not members of band, orchestra or chorus can participate in this connections class for one nine week term each year.

Skills taught include:

• Music literacy and history
• Basic guitar chording, strumming and note reading based on scale work
• Keyboard chording, melodies and accompaniment techniques

Each student is required to bring to class a three prong folder with pockets, notebook paper and pencil. Folders are to remain in class and are graded as a project.

VIP: Old  MARTA cards, gift cards, and merchant cards can be brought to class and stamped into picks for student use. Please be sure that the cards have no value or further use. 

Students enrolled in music appreciation who want to bring their own ear buds to class to use on the keyboards should also get a mini-to-1/4" adapter so they will fit the phone jacks.
